Hellooo August! We can always expect San Diego to provide it’s residents with lots of fun filled activities. This month full of exciting events for the whole family! We won’t want to miss out, grab your calendar and fill you days these amazing, jammed packed activities!
1). First things first!..Let’s raise our glass at the Encinitas BrewFest on August 3rd at the Mira Costa College Campus in Cardiff from 4PM-7PM! You know you’re going to have a good time when 16 Breweries are in one location,all at the same time! Great way to start the month!
2). Have you heard of the 4 O’clock concerts at the Del Mar Fairground? Yes, every Friday in August starting at 4PM you’ll be able to get your groove on to to the sounds of some amazing artists. The first Friday of August you’ll be fully entertained by Iration! And guess who you’ll be serenaded by the last Friday of the month? oh yes…None other then Ziggy Marley!
3).Every one deserves their very own special day and ohhh yes our dogs will have one too! Bring them for some fun in the sun to the Cardiff Dog Days of Summer Event on August 10th from 10AM-4PM! They will have 10 dog contest from Best Kisser to Best Singing Performance! All will be entertained and all will leave Happy!
4). Looking for free entertainment for the whole family Friday evenings? Look no further! TGIF Jazz at the park is in full swing. Every Friday from 6-9pm at the park in Carlsbad. Bring your snack, dinner and wine! Come relax or come to dance, either way you will have a great time so put it down in your calenders and put on your dancing shoes!
5). Do you enjoy being surrounded by nature? The San Diego Botanic Gardens offers Family Nights on Thursday from 4:30-8PM. With activities for all, including an educational experience while surrounded with the most beautiful plant life from regions all around the world! Do I hear an Ahhhhh!
6). Do you enjoy Bluegrass Music? Come join us at the 11th Annual Bluegrass Festivals on AUgust 16th-18th! The food will be great for sure, the music, and the fun activities for all will surely keep you moving and grooving! By the way if you’d like to camp while your visiting, that’s offered too! No shortage of activities here!
7). Oh my,… Thank heavens! The Valley Center Food Truck Festival is back on August 24th from 3-9PM at the Bates Nut Farm in Valley Center! This time it is bigger and better then ever! With 16 Food Truck, Beer, Wine, Arts & Crafts, A KIDZ ZONE with pony rides, rock climbling and petting zone! We don’t want to miss this one! Not just a dream!!! We’ll see you there!
8). For all you wine lovers out there you won’t want to miss the 20th Annual Grape Stomp Event August 24th from 4-8PM. You will enjoy an amazing 3 course meal with your wine. What else will you be doing there you may ask? Stomping those grapes! If you’ve need experienced this you won’t want to miss out on this event!
9). Let’s all be inspired! We all have a creative side. Some more then others, true. What can help bring it out in us? Being surrounded by amazing and talented artist along with there creative works! So join us at the LeucadiART Walk on August 25th, from 10AM-5PM. Bring the whole family to this awesome event and yes…be inspired!
10). Did you know that we have a Surf Museum in Oceanside? Yes it’s located in Oceanside near the beach of course and Tuesdays are free! With so much history and amazing exhibitions, you’ll want to make sure you stop in next time you’re in the area. Surf’s up dude’s
